Two PhD researchers have successfully defended their PhD thesis plans: Rui Ferreira on "Name Resolution in the Internet: from function to valued service" and Daniel Corujo on "Communication Models for the Future Mobile Internet". The juries included Paulo Pinto from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Telemaco Melia from Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs.
