Carlos Guimarães, Daniel Corujo, Rui L. Aguiar, along with our colleagues Antonio de la Oliva from UC3M and Yoshihiro Ohba from Toshiba, saw their article "Multicast Group Membership Management in Media Independent Handover Services" accepted for publication in Elsevier's Communications Network. This work marks the first article about the upcoming standard IEEE 802.21d Group Management Solutions, to whose genesis ATNoG greatly contributed. The latest version of OPMIP has just been released. Here is a detailed list of the changes:

  • Add MAG support for IEEE 802.21 driver 
  • Support tunnel global address 
  • Improve robustness of OPMIP code 
  • Several bug fixes

Today I (Carla Leite) defended my Master thesis in Multimedia Communication.

Rui L. Aguiar was present in Atlanta, at Globecom 2014, where he presented two papers, one on identifiers for multi-technology devices, and the other on software defined networking.

Rui Aguiar and Rui Ferreira were in Brussels for the first review of the EU Coordination Action PROSE. The review was successful and spawned a very insightful discussion for future directions for PROSE.
