The paper "Topological Implications of Cascading Interdomain Bilateral Traffic Agreements", co-authored by Vitor Jesus, Rui L Aguiar, Peter Steenkiste, has been acepted for publication in IEEE Journal On Selected Areas In Communications, Special Issue on "Measurement of Internet Topologies", to be published in October 2011.
This paper discusses the topological implications of cascading interdomain SLAs, between Autonomous Systems, using real-world assumptions suggesting that the current Internet topology, still mainly hierarchical, is strongly influenced by business practices and not only technical considerations.

Azmol Huda presented his current Phd work entitled "Benchmarking a Network".

Diogo Gomes has attended the 3rd Usage Areas Workshop in Brussels, organized by the European Future Internet Initiative. 

This workshop aimed to cultivate a common discussion between the stakeholders from all sectors using, and planning to use, the services and facilities of Future Internet (FI) to build an extended FI community and to foster a holistic cross sector approach to accelerating the Future Internet in Europe.

The paper "Using an Open-Source IEEE 802.21 Implementation for Network Based Localized Mobility Management" has been accepted for publication at the IEEE Communications Magazine, Special Issue on "Communications Middleware for Mobile Devices and Applications".
The paper represents a major mark on the pioneer work that ATNoG has been developing with IEEE802.21 Media Independent Handover Services and Network Based Localized Mobility Management protocols, which has been applied in several international research projects, national industry research projects, several academic thesis and berthed their own software projects: ODTONE and OPMIP.

Today is world IPv6 Day, an event promoted by the internet Society (more info).
ATNoG has been a pioneer in using IPv6 since the debut of project Mobydick, and through important projects such as Daidalos and Akogrimo.
Today we continue working on IPv6 through projects such as Medieval.
btw: this website is IPv6 enabled ;)
